More than 230 German Cities partner with cities in Ukraine. From building hospitals to museums cooperating. The drive for this comes from civil society,  businesses, associations, clubs, other organizations. And foremost the engagement of individual citizens. Local governments, the German states and the Federal Government all join forces. 

Citizens from all over Germany follow their local partnerships. This is a unique opportunity to inform about Ukraine and its citizens. By linking with each other and by telling the stories of these  initiatives wie believe we are able to  impact in the German public debate on Ukraine.
